Video/Slide not Progressing

Video won't let me continue / "Please watch the entire slide" error in ComplianceTrackr

Issue You are stuck on a course module and cannot progress. The message displayed is similar to: "To continue, please watch the entire slide" (or similar wording).

Cause This usually happens when the video has not been started correctly. The system tracks completion based on the Play/Pause status in the video player.

Solution

  1. Click the Play button in the bottom left corner of the video player so the video actually starts playing.

  2. Check the status icon in the corner of the video player — it should change from Play to Pause.

  3. Once the video starts playing (and the icon shows Pause), the system will register the time correctly and you should be able to continue.

Tips

  • Make sure you don’t just have the video paused or muted without it actually playing from the start.

  • Refresh the page and try again if the status icon still doesn’t change to Pause after clicking Play.

  • The progress counter is tied directly to the Play/Pause status, so it must show Pause before the course will let you move forward.
