Understanding Form Schedules in ComplianceTrackr
When creating or editing a form in the ComplianceTrackr Portal, you can assign a Schedule. This schedule determines when the form is due and how often it repeats.
📝 What Does the Scheduled Time Mean?
For Daily schedules, the time you choose is the submission deadline.
Users must submit the form by the selected time each day.
For Weekly and Monthly schedules, no specific time is required.
Users can submit the form any time on the due day (for weekly) or any time on the due date (for monthly).
📅 Schedule Types
🔁 Daily Schedule
Daily schedules allow you to set a specific submission time.
Example:
- Daily at 9:00 AM → The form must be submitted by 9:00 AM every day.
This is the only schedule type where a time-based deadline applies.
📆 Weekly Schedule
Weekly schedules let you select one or more days of the week.
Forms can be submitted any time during each selected day.
Example:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday → Users can submit the form any time on those days.
🗓️ Monthly Schedule
Monthly schedules let you choose a specific day of the month.
Forms can be submitted any time on that chosen date.
Example:
- 15th of every month → The form can be submitted any time on the 15th.
💡 Tips for Setting Schedules
- ✔️ Use Daily if the form must be submitted by a specific time
- ✔️ Use Weekly/Monthly for flexible, “submit any time during the day” tasks
- ✔️ Make sure users understand the difference between time-based daily deadlines and day-based due dates
- ✔️ Review schedules regularly to make sure they match your workflow
