🌡️ Taking Manual Temperature Reads


If you are not using automated temperature sensors, you can record temperature readings manually using:

  • 📋 The Master Forms supplied within ComplianceTrackr

    OR

  • 🛠️ A custom form created using the Form Builder

⚙️ One-Time Setup Requirements

Before recording a manual temperature read, you must complete the following setup (this only needs to be done once).

Manual temperature reads can be assigned to either:

  • 🍽️ A Food Item
  • 🧊 A Piece of Equipment

🍽️ Food Item (Optional)

This is only required if you want to record the temperature against a specific food item.


🗂️ Food Category

The Food Category:

  • Sets the temperature range limits
  • Controls reporting options
  • Ensures compliance alerts trigger correctly

Make sure the correct category is selected to ensure accurate compliance tracking.


🧊 Equipment Type

The Equipment Type:

  • Identifies whether the equipment is a fridge, freezer, hot holding unit, etc.
  • Automatically sets the correct temperature range limits

🏷️ Equipment Name

The Equipment Name is:

  • The specific fridge, freezer, or unit you are recording against
  • Where the manual temperature read will be assigned

Example:

  • Kitchen Fridge 1
  • Bar Freezer 2
  • Cool Room A
