Custom Categories with Equipment

You can now assign Custom Categories to Equipment, this will assist you with the Form Builder, Equipment & Sensor Reporting Pages.

Please Select "Equipment Type" from the Menu. If this menu is missing please contact support.

If your site already has some types created they will be shown. It is important to get the Equipment Categories correct as the notification & reporting system uses the thresholds from these tables.

You don't assign the sensor on this screen please visit "Add/Remove Equipment" for the option to attach a sensor to a piece of equipment, sensors need to be attached to a piece of equipment, but equipment doesn't need a sensor to be used throughout the software.

Please be aware that the automated sensor notifications are tied to the equipment types - you can have your own custom types or use the master equipment types if you want, which are enabled by default.
